Short answers about how Nogramix works today — guest play, progress, the daily challenge, and where to begin if you are new to Nonograms.
Is Nogramix free to play?
Yes. Spring Forest — the first world — is fully playable at no cost, including as a guest. You do not need to pay or create an account to begin.
Do I need an account to play?
No. You can play as a guest immediately. An optional account lets you sync progress across devices — it is not required to unlock Spring Forest or to play.
Are there timers or streaks?
Not in the core experience. There is no countdown working against you and no streaks to lose. A timer may show for information; it is not a threat. Undo is free.
What is a Nonogram / Picross?
A Nonogram — also called Picross — is a logic picture puzzle. Number clues on rows and columns tell you which cells to fill until a picture appears. Nothing is guessed: every cell can be proven. Read How to play Nonograms for a full beginner walkthrough with a worked 5×5 example.
Where is my progress saved, and can I sync it later?
Guest progress is stored in your browser on this device. Clearing site data, switching browsers or devices, or private browsing can erase it. Create an optional account to sync progress across devices; until you sign in, saves stay local to this browser.
What is the daily challenge?
Each day offers one shared daily puzzle, available to guests and signed-in players. It is a calm ritual rather than a streak system: missing a day costs nothing and does not gate the rest of the journey.
Does Nogramix work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Nogramix is a browser game and works on phones and tablets in a modern mobile browser. Where the browser supports it, you can also install an app-like shortcut. Dedicated Android and iOS store apps are planned on the same engine but are not required to play today.
